We recently wrote an article on the 25 best RN-BSN scholarships, but now we’re taking it a step further and looking at scholarships available to ALL undergraduate nursing students at any level.

Founded by Cherokee Uniforms, A Nurse I Am Scholarship is awarded to eligible nursing students who are currently enrolled in an accredited nursing school in the United States.
Eligible applicants must be in pursuit of their nursing degree and can be either part time or full time students. Additionally, students must be enrolled in an LVN, LPN, RN, or RN-to-BSN program.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents.

Amount: $3,000
The Jane Delano Student Nurse Scholarship was founded to promote nurses and their experiences with American Red Cross. The scholarship is available to nursing both undergraduate and graduate nursing students who have participated as volunteers or served as an employee to the American Red Cross within the past five years.
Application Deadline: Closed for 2020-21 Academic Year | Mid June
Amount: $1,500
The AORN Scholarship award is available for both U.S. undergraduate and graduate students in their pursuit of a nursing degree and are currently enrolled in a program that leads to licensure as a registered nurse (RN). Additionally, applicants must be continuing their education in periOperative nursing. Applicants must also hold a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0.

Amount: $1,250
The James G. Pulos Memorial Scholarship is an annual award sponsored by the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA). Applicants must be full-time, undergraduate students. To be considered, students must be of Greek descent in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or the Washington D.C.
Students must possess a GPA of at least 3.0 in an accredited Engineering, Biotechnology, Political Science, Genetic Sciences, Nursing, or Medical Sciences program.

Amount: $1,800
Provided through the Greater Worcester Community Foundation (GWCF), the Marilyn M. and Sussell S. Fox Nursing Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in Worcester County, Massachusetts looking to major in nursing.
Applicants will be considered for their academic excellence, extracurricular activities, financial need, and passion for nursing.
Application Deadline: December 1
Amount: $250 for 1 semester, awarded 4 semesters
The Coursey Enterprises Student Scholarship is awarded to eligible first year nursing students.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, enrolled in a LPN or RN program, and must write a 200 word essay describing why they want to be a nurse.
There is both a Spring and Fall scholarship.

Amount: Awards range from $1,000 to $7,500 per academic year.
The FNSNA Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate and/or graduate nursing students in the United States. Applicants must be United States citizens or permanent residents, and must be enrolled in an accredited, state-approved nursing program.
The criteria for the scholarship varies according to the sponsor of the annual award, but typically will emphasize an area of specialization within nursing.

Amount: 2 scholarships for $2,500 each are awarded twice a year.
The Hurst Review Services Nursing AACN scholarship is awarded to nursing students enrolled at a qualified American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) institution.
Applicants must be current undergraduate students, and studying in the field of nursing.

Eligible applicants must provide at least two (2) years of service at a healthcare facility with a shortage of nurses in exchange for the Nursing Scholarship Program to pay for:
In order to be considered for the HRSA NURSE Corps Scholarship Program, all applicants must be U.S citizens or legal permanent residents.
Eligible applicants must also be free from any federal judgment lines or any existing service commitment, and must not be overdue on a federal debt.
Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited nursing program (associate, undergraduate, or graduate).
Those applying must also be willing to work at an organization with a critical shortage of nurses upon their graduation.

The Cascade Healthcare Nurses Make a Difference Scholarship is available to current, undergraduate nursing degree students enrolled in an accredited college or university, as well as high school students who have been accepted into college with the intention of studying nursing.
Eligible applicants must be either a legal United States citizen or hold a student visa, be 18 years of age, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Amount: $2,000
The TravelNurseSource Future U.S. Nurse Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students who have completed at least one (1) semester of nursing school in the U.S.
Applicants must be a legal resident of the United States, at least 18 years of age, and possess a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
Applicants must provide an original 30 second-1 minute video of themselves to be considered.
Application Deadline: July 30
Amount: 10 one-time awards of $10,000 and 30 one-time awards of $5,000 are awarded each year.
The Tylenol Future Care Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate and/or graduate nursing students from the United States or Puerto Rico. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited two or four year program at a college, university, or technical school.
Eligible applicants must have at least 1 year of school remaining in their program to be considered. Undergraduate students applying for the award must have a minimum of one (1) year of study completed by the time of the application deadline, and graduate students only need proof of their enrollment for consideration.

The B4 Brands Barbara Rhomberg Nursing Scholarship is awarded to those students who have taken a non-traditional route to their nursing career.
To be considered, applicants must have taken at least a three (3) year gap between graduating high school and enrolling in a college/university.
Eligible applicants must be full-time students pursuing a degree in nursing. Associate, undergraduate, and bachelor degree nursing programs are eligible.

The Dr. Francis Anthony Beneventi Medical Scholarship is awarded to nursing students by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR).
Eligible applicants must be legal U.S. citizens, and plan to attend an accredited U.S. college or university. Students must also hold a minimum GPA of 3.25 to be considered.
While the scholarship is not automatically renewed, recipients are encouraged to re-apply for consideration each year, for a maximum of four (4) consecutive years. After the recipient’s first semester, an annual transcript review is required to prove a GPA of at least 3.25.

The Native American Indians Scholarship is awarded to Native American students looking to pursue a career in nursing. Undergraduate and graduate students of any age, tribe, or state are eligible to apply.
Eligible applicants must provide proof of American Indian blood to be considered. A GPA of at least 3.25 is also required.

The Caroline E. Holt Nursing Scholarship is awarded to nursing students who display a financial need. Applicants must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Those applying are only eligible for one scholarship from the NSDAR.

The Madeline Pickett (Halbert) Cogswell Nursing Scholarship is awarded to U.S. undergraduate nursing students.
Eligible applicants must be enrolled or accepted into an accredited nursing program, members of the NSDAR, descendants of NSDAR members, and/or eligible to be members of the NSDAR.
Applicants must attach a letter of acceptance into their nursing program, and their NSDAR member number to be considered.

The Mildred Nutting Nursing Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate U.S. students who are currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited nursing program. Although not required, preference is given to those from the greater Lowell, Massachusetts area.
Applicants are only eligible for one scholarship from the NSDAR.

The Stephanie Carroll Scholarship was founded in memory of Stephanie Carroll, a highly valued NADONA nurse. The award is given to current undergraduate or graduate nursing students at an accredited nursing program who have selected Geriatrics or Long Term Care as their practice upon graduation.
A nursing career rooted in geriatrics or long term care specializes in the treatment of elderly patients.
Application Deadline: Before course date, applications are reviewed every 3 months

The Karen O’Neil Memorial Scholarship is awarded to those who are emergency nurses, and are seeking an advanced degree. Eligible applicants must also be an ENA member.
The application requires applicants to submit a biographical sketch, personal statement, academic transcripts, and at least two references.

The StraightForward Media Nursing School Scholarship is awarded four (4) times per year to nursing students. Eligible applicants must be undergraduate students attending a four year program, two year program, or vocational technical school.
Deadlines for the scholarship are January 14th, April 14th, July 14th, and October 14th.

The Exceptionalnurse.com College Scholarship is awarded to nursing major students with a documented disability. Eligible applicants must be full time students, and preference is granted to undergraduate students; although graduate students are also encouraged to apply!

The Big Y Scholarship program is open to graduating high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students. Eligible applicants must either have a permanent residence or attend school in Massachusetts or Connecticut.

The Tafford Uniforms Scholarship is available for current nursing students enrolled in an accredited nursing program in the United States. Eligible applicants must hold a minimum GPA of 2.5, and must be enrolled in a BSN, MSN, LPN, LVN, or ADN program.
Applicants must also submit a brief essay describing their reasoning for pursuing a nursing career.

The American Legion Massachusetts Nursing and General Scholarships are offered to applicants who are the children or grandchildren of a Department of Massachusetts Legion member with good standing.
To be considered, applicants must be enrolled in a two or four year college, and must be freshman.
Eligible applicants must be residents of Massachusetts.
Application Deadline: The 2020-2021 scholarship cycle and awarding process will be delayed due to the rapidly growing impact of the COVID-19 crisis.
Amount: $2,000 - $4,000
The ANSWER Scholarship Endowment fund helps to provide scholarships for women raising children while furthering their professional education.
Applicants must be 25 years of age or older, and pursuing a four year undergraduate degree, two year nursing degree, or a two year degree as a part of the CPCC Health Careers Program.

The CSUB C. Richard and Audrey Barnes Nursing Scholarship is designed to aid undergraduate nursing students in need of financial assistance. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate nursing program, and a member of an underrepresented minority group.

The CSUB- Dr. John & Emily Coash Scholarship was established to support both undergraduate and graduate students who major in geology or nursing. The scholarship award alternates between geology and nursing each year.

The Delaware Nursing Incentive Program was established to aid full-time undergraduate nursing students at accredited nursing programs. Eligible applicants must be in a program that leads to RN or LPN licensure.
Applicants must also be high school seniors in the top 50% of their class with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, or undergraduate students with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
Eligible applicants are required to be legal residents of Delaware.
